The Starship coupling is a new design that is in Prototype stage and has been specifically designed to reduce hose assembly fatigue failures.
Most hydraulic hose assemblies fail near the end fitting, the point where flexibility goes to rigidity. This coupling has been designed to reduce these failures by allowing the end section to both rotate and deviate off its axis. Application and pressure tests are now being undertaken.
Initial sizes will be from 3/4" / 20mm to 2" / 50mm.
These couplings are for high end application and are self lubricating.
